MESA, Ariz. – A Mesa minister and his wife have been arrested for an alleged $5.5 million mortgage fraud scheme.

Clint and Angela Rogers were indicted this month by a federal grand jury.

They are accused of trying to inflate the value of homes, get loans at an exorbitant price and then pocket the difference.

Clint Rogers heads the Mesa-based Clint Rogers Ministries, which works in the United States, Africa, Asia and Europe.

The indictment indicates the ministry was a front to launder money. The couple pleaded not guilty to the charges.
