CHARLOTTE — Dr. Clinton Feemster was accompanied by church deacons and an attorney Friday morning at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse.
Feemster was arrested Feb.18 and charged with soliciting crimes against nature. Police said he solicited a sex act from an undercover vice officer near the airport.
Feemster, a Gardner-Webb University professor and a pastor at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, was placed on leave from his church in early March. He is also on leave from the university.
His case was continued to May 3.
